The height of the cover — must take into account the gap between the cover and the foot. Usually, it is 7 mm. The softer the foot (e.g. fibreglass), the greater the gap will be.

Prosthetic socket circumference — this is the circumference at the very end of the cover. It can be reduced by a maximum of 1 cm. The circumferences of the covers to choose from are given every 1 cm. Therefore, when ordering, always choose the closest upper value.

For example, if the circumference of the Socket is 36.5 cm, then we choose the circumference of 37 cm. We can reduce it by 0.5 cm to 36.5 cm.

To take the measurement correctly, please mark the height of the cover in several places and place a ruler below the marking. The measurement should be made very carefully because moving the ruler even by a few millimetres up or down causes an incorrect reading of the circumference even by several centimetres.

If you are using a silicone sleeve, make sure you are taking the measurement with the sleeve on the socket.

Below the silicone sleeve or without - The silicone sleeve should end at the height of the cover. Velcro is located between the cover and the prosthetic socket at the top of the cover. This way, the silicone sleeve will match the cover (the thickness will be the same). This option is also recommended if you do not have a silicone sleeve.

Over the silicone sleeve - Velcro is located below the upper edge of the cover and above the magnets, the left and right sides of the cover stay intact (they do not part). This option is required when the cover overlaps the silicone sleeve. Additionally, you should place a Velcro between the adapter or the vacuum pump so that the cover does not slide down.

Let us know if the prosthesis is equipped with a vacuum pump or other elements whose diameter is larger than the standard phi 30 or 34 mm adapter.

If there is a need to make a hole for a PIN or a release button, you will have to do it yourself. You can use sharp tools such as a knife, scissors or just simply drill a hole.

In order for the cover to fit the foot, you must send us a photo with a visible foot shell. It is very important that the camera lens is perpendicular to the pyramid. The distance from the cover to the lens should be approximately 1 meter.
