FAQ

What is the difference between the XF and XS cover?

The differences are given in the table below. Cover XS is analogous to the Flex Neo AK cover, i.e. it is a cover with a standard anatomical shape. Cover XF, on the other hand, is the so-called MAX version, i.e. the cover is an exact copy of the patient's healthy leg.

Is it possible to trim a Cover? How?
Is it possible to cut the male and female system if there is little space at the bottom of the cover and the cover does not close?
What to do if the cover tends to rotate around the prosthesis?
Which colour to choose - matte or shiny?

Before scanning smooth or shiny surfaces, such as stainless steel, it is a good idea to wrap the prothesis in a thin cloth (excluding the socket). However, the best solution is to spray the surface with a special powder in a spray, for example from IP Division GmbH. (www.ipdent.com)
